Chinese Tarot Cards

Tarot cards are use in many fortune telling. A Chinese theme design using many of the element in their culture. The primary color use are yellow, red, green, and blue. The one designed are the Moon, Justice, Emperor, and the back of the tarot cards.

MoonCard

The Moon

The archetypes for “The Moon” card are considered a symbol of the unconscious mind, and the reflection of the sun that constantly changes. It represents secrets and mysteries that may not be understood as it move across the dark sky.

The mix animal design is based on a hybrid of an ox and rabbit from the Chinese zodiac. The layout gives a dream like illusion of the mind. The upside-down mountain shows its roots as a decay tree trunk. It pointed toward the eye of the sun as it rains down tear to form the lake. This can give off a surrealist look to the art. 

Justice

Justice is the archetype that represent the law maker and enforcer. They are considered a double-edged sword that cuts both ways for equality. It also means self-reflection in one action.

The object used are the sword and the amulet to show strength and protection. The balance scales and yin and yang symbol on the sword show fairness in one judgment. The amulet has the Chinese jade to show harmony and balance, and coin design of a dragon, tiger, snake, and phoenix.

Emperor

EmperorCard

The emperor archetype portrays a ruler that protect and provide those they have authority over. They bring order in days of chaos, so that their peoples will thrive. Also considered a father figure that makes rule and system in their family.

The “Emperor” card has a humanoid character of the king holding hand with his son to show a father figure. He is holding the sword up with the sun shining out of the mountain to portray his height in power to lead the people.
